How much does it cost to hire The Dukes?
Venue hire varies depending on the type of event, number of guests and time of year. We offer a range of options including day events, evening celebrations and weekend gatherings.

From £1,800 weekdays or £2,300 on Saturdays

From £2,450 weekdays or £2,950 on Saturdays
Celebration Stay (2 days)
From £4,850 (Tuesday-Thursday) and £5,450 (Friday-Sunday)
All Inclusive Celebration Stay (2 days)
From £5,850 (Tuesday-Thursday) and £6,450 (Friday-Sunday)

What is included in venue hire?
Venue hire includes exclusive use of The Dukes and its indoor event spaces for the duration of your booking. Our signature classic finger buffet for 50 guests or £500 food/drink allowance. All inclusive packages include ceremony set up and feast table for a 24 guest banquet with drinks.
Tables, chairs and basic event setup are provided, along with a sound system, disco lighting, TV, projector screen, whiteboard and wireless microphones.
Bed and breakfast accommodation for up to 8 guests is included, with space for campervans if required. A further 20 guest bedrooms are available within walking distance at two nearby pubs with rooms.
How many guests can the venue accommodate?
The indoor spaces at The Dukes can comfortably host up to 50 guests for celebrations and gatherings or 30 guests dining, (biggest one table will seat 24). Larger events may be possible with the use of outdoor space. We can accommodate 8 overnight guests in 4 double ensuite bedrooms called The Stables.
Is accommodation available?
Yes. We have accommodation sleeping up to 8 guests on site, ideal for hosts or close family members. A further 20 guest bedrooms are available within walking distance at two nearby pubs with rooms. We have space for up to 8 camper vans.
Do you provide catering and drinks?
Yes. We offer in house catering with flexible menu options, along with drinks packages and bar service for your event.
What types of events do you host?
The Dukes hosts a wide range of celebrations including weddings, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, family gatherings, retreats, private parties and small corporate events.
Can we hire the venue for a full weekend?
Yes. Many guests choose weekend celebrations so they can spend more time together in a relaxed setting. Accommodation is available on site with additional rooms nearby.
